Ford Towing Guide

When you have a major job that needs to be done, you need a vehicle that's up to the task. In many cases, that means a vehicle capable of towing thousands of pounds. For a job like this, you can count on a reliable Ford to do all your heavy pulling.

We feature two kinds of Ford trucks capable of such a feat here at Ray Price Stroud, the F Series and the Transit Series. In order to help you decide which model is the most well-equipped for your task, we've created a Ford towing guide, which includes two helpful charts displaying the towing capacity and payload capacity of each model in both the F Series and the Transit Series for your reference.

F Series Towing Capacity and Payload Capacity

The following chart outlines the Ford F Series towing capacity, as well as the payload capacity of each model. The towing capacity is how much weight the vehicle can tow behind it, while the payload capacity is the maximum weight of the entire haul it can handle, including the occupants of the vehicle. The capacities are expressed as a weight range rather than a set weight because additional features of each model, such as engine and axle types, also affect how much the vehicle can haul.
