An 8-speed automatic transmission will be the source of all gear-shifting as you accelerate or decelerate. Finally, if you have the model outfitted with the Class II Trailer Tow package, you can expect as much as 3,500 pounds of maximum towing capacity!

Previous Ford Escape SUVs, in similar fashion to other Ford models in the last few years, relied upon the savvy SYNC® 3 infotainment interface.
Recently, however, Ford has upgraded their interface to a new platform called SYNC® 4. The 2021 Ford Escape is one of the models that will benefit from this enhanced touchscreen system.

The largest touchscreen is an 8-inch display and if you don't want to use your hands while driving to move from menu to menu, you can instead rely upon voice commands.
Same Sleek Styling
For 2020, the exterior of the Ford Escape was redesigned. The front fascia evolved to a striking mesh pattern and various lines and shapes running along the body's frame were smoothed over to improve aerodynamics. For 2021, all these styling attributes are apparent once again.
As you move between the many trim levels of the 2021 Ford Escape, you can also alter aspects of the vehicle-from the lighting system to the rear spoiler and roof racks!
