Certain Ford vehicles come with this specialized transmission, which lets you choose your own gears or alter the gears you'd like to use. For instance, if you're driving in slippery conditions, you can lock out gears by using Progressive Range Selection.

SelectShift® technology, similar to Progressive Range Selection, tailors your transmission to your personal preferences. By activating this system, you can choose between fully automatic or semi-automatic shifting.

Your Ford model may have various 4-wheel drive systems to enhance your traction during your drives. Certain modes are more ideal for certain situations. By choosing a specific mode, your Ford will adjust its performance to provide a steady and stable ride.  

The electronic limited-slip differential of your Ford is a system that adds traction when you're going over a slick road or off-road terrain. It's also quite handy when towing.

With the rotary gear shift dial, you'll have a clean and compact center console. When driving in slippery conditions on steep slopes, use the Progressive Range Selection to lock out certain gears.

The rotary gear shift dial is your hub for switching between different drive modes. If you want a sportier drive, choose the manual shift feature to upshift and downshift on your own.

With a manual transmission, Rev Matching is used to ensure that changing gears, especially downshifting, is executed safely and smoothly.  

More modern Ford models offer a wide range of drive modes to adjust your performance. For instance, choose Mud/Ruts Mode if you're off-roading on muddy trails. If it's a clear day on the highway, then choose Normal Mode.

The adaptive suspension is a fully automatic feature that enhances your vehicle's control across all types of road surfaces. By monitoring multiple data points, it can adjust the suspension damping to increase your grip on the road.
