It's clear that the 2021 Ford Explorer looks great on the outside, but we know many drivers in the East Stroudsburg, Lehigh Valley, and Nazareth areas are interested to know what's happening inside the cabin, too.
That's why our team at Ray Price Stroud Ford decided to put together this Ford Explorer interior review for our Stroudsburg and Easton area customers. Keep reading for a quick tour of the interior of the Ford Explorer.

Ford Explorer Interior Seating and Dimensions
Inside the Explorer SUV, you'll find plenty of spacious seating for up to seven people. This SUV features 152.7 cubic feet of passenger volume, giving all three rows plenty of space to stretch out. In fact, the rear row has a total of 32.2 inches of legroom.
Those in the second row have 39 inches of legroom, and the front passenger and driver have 43 inches of legroom.
If all seven seats are full, you can still bring 18.2 cubic feet of cargo along for the drive. Fold the PowerFold® third-row seats down with the press of a button to reveal 47.9 cubic feet of space. With both rear seats folded flat, you can bring along 87.8 cubic feet of cargo.
Ford Explorer Interior Infotainment
The Ford Explorer is packed full of infotainment technology features that can help make your drives around town even more convenient and enjoyable. Every trim of the SUV comes standard with the FordPass Connect™ 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot that allows you to connect as many as 10 devices at once.
The touchscreen display can measure as large as 10.1 inches. On this LCD capacitive portrait screen are integration systems such as Apple CarPlayâ„¢ and Android Autoâ„¢. With these systems in place, pairing your smartphone to the screen is easy and gives you access to various applications.
Behind the steering wheel of the Platinum and ST trims is a 12.3-inch digital customizable cluster. You can reconfigure this screen to show you driving details, media information, and much more.
Visibility and Safety Features
Whether you're moving through traffic or parking in a crowded lot, you'll find improved visibility and capability, thanks to cameras that watch your back and your front. The standard rearview camera has gridlines that provide a clear view of the space directly behind your vehicle. The gridlines help you back your way into a parking space with ease, while color markings will indicate your distance from any objects behind you.
Entire driver-assistance safety suites are optional as well, such as Ford Co-Pilot360â„¢ and Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist +. Finally, Active Park Assist 2.0 does more than add to your visual prowess, it can automatically park your SUV for you! Simply shift to neutral after lining up next to the parking space and hold the Active Park Assist button.
